who we are in Christ
Who We Are in Christ In Christ,
we discover our true identity—not shaped by our past, our failures, or what others say about us, but by what God declares over us.
Scripture says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17). We are forgiven, redeemed, and made righteous through His blood. We are chosen, loved, and adopted into God’s family (Ephesians 1:4–5).
In Christ, we are no longer bound by shame or fear. We are strengthened by His Spirit, empowered for purpose, and called to shine His light in a dark world. We are His workmanship, created for good works (Ephesians 2:10).
When life tries to tell you who you are not, let God remind you of who you are: a child of God, deeply loved, eternally secure, and wonderfully made new. Stand firm in that identity today—your life is hidden in Christ.
Prayer of Thanksgiving
Lord Jesus, thank You for making us new and calling us Your own. Thank You for forgiving our sins, restoring our identity, and filling us with Your Spirit. We praise You for choosing us, loving us, and giving us a hope-filled future in You. Help us walk confidently in who You say we are. Amen.
