The birth of our Saviour

Christmas: The Birth of Our Saviour  Christmas is the celebration of the greatest moment in human history the birth of Jesus Christ.

It is the day heaven touched earth, when God stepped into our world in human form. Luke 2:11 declares, “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.”  Jesus was not born in a palace, but in a manger humble, simple, and accessible to all.

This reminds us that God came not only for the powerful or the perfect, but for ordinary people in ordinary places. In the birth of Jesus, we see God’s love made visible. He entered our broken world to bring hope, forgiveness, and new life.

Christmas is more than lights, gifts, and celebrations. It is the announcement that God is with us Emmanuel. Through Jesus’ birth, we are offered peace with God and the promise of salvation. As we celebrate Christmas, may our hearts be filled with gratitude and wonder, and may we welcome Christ anew into our lives.

Prayer:  Lord, thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus. Help us to remember the true meaning of Christmas and to live in the hope and joy His birth brings. Amen.
