Love Beyond Measure
"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” — 1 John 3:1 (NIV)
There is no love like the love of Jesus. It’s not based on our performance, our goodness, or our faithfulness — it’s rooted in His nature. Jesus doesn’t just love us when we get it right; He loves us at our worst, in our brokenness, and even when we turn away. His love reaches into the darkest places and brings light, hope, and restoration.
When Jesus walked the earth, He showed this love through compassion — healing the sick, touching the untouchable, and forgiving the undeserving. His love was never distant or conditional; it was personal and sacrificial. The cross stands as the eternal symbol of that love — where He willingly gave His life so that we could be called His own.
Jesus said in John 10:14–15,
“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me... and I lay down my life for the sheep.”
You are one of those sheep — deeply known, tenderly cared for, and fiercely protected. He knows your fears, your struggles, and your dreams. When you stumble, He doesn’t walk away; He picks you up, strengthens you, and guides you back to safety. His love never fails, never fades, and never gives up on you.
So today, rest in His love. You don’t need to earn it — simply receive it. You belong to Him, and nothing can separate you from His love.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me so deeply and personally. Thank You that Your love is not based on what I do but on who You are. Help me to live each day aware of Your care and to trust You with every part of my life. Let Your love overflow through me so that others can see You in me.
In Your precious name, Amen.
Ps Ronald
