Growing in Faith

Growing in Faith  Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Faith is trusting God before you see the answer. Faith is not believing that God can it is believing that God will because His character is faithful. We walk by faith, not by sight, because our confidence is not in circumstances but in the One who controls them.

How do we grow in faith? Faith grows by hearing God’s Word. The more you read Scripture, the more you know God’s heart. Fear listens to circumstances; faith listens to God.  Faith grows through trials. Every challenge is an opportunity to trust Him more. God tests our faith not to break us, but to build us. Faith grows when we obey. Faith is not a feeling it is an action.

Peter stepped out of the boat before he walked on water.  Today, God is not asking you to understand everything. He is asking you to trust Him. Faith doesn’t demand full clarity; it just requires a willing heart.

Prayer:  Lord, increase my faith. Help me trust you when I cannot see the answer, when I don’t understand the timing, and when fear tries to control me. I choose to believe Your promises.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
