Restore Community Care

RCC

Restore Community Care has just completed its second year of operation. During this time we have been reaching out to people in our Church and Community. This year we started a Brunch in the School, and continue to give out food parcels through the Church and School. We have supported Teen-Challenge Australia by helping in their rehabilitation program. We have also provided Counselling, and Financial help to many people in need.

We have also established a team of volunteers and a brief summary of their roles and services follows.

Through Restore community Care we have been able to reach out to the Schools and make better connections with students and faculty. This coming year we look forward to doing more through Restore Community Care for people in need. Thanks to Matthew Jacotine, David Santiago and Ray Green for coming on board during the year to work towards the progress of Restore Community Care. I also want to thank the Brunch team who faithfully turn up every Wednesday to serve the kids at the school. Thank you for the great job well done.

God bless you

-Ps Ronald Rodrigo

Thanks from Rowville SC

school brunch

"Once again we would like to thank the generosity of the Restore Church community for providing a nutritious and delicious brunch to many of our students at Rowville Secondary College.

The students enjoy the opportunity to sit and chat. It has been a great relief and escape from the very chilly mornings. A huge thank you to Ronald Rodrigo for organising this worthwhile activity. We really appreciate it.

Team Members and Volunteers

Restore Community Care Volunteers do a great job by helping with the needs of people in the Church and Community. They assist with various tasks around the home, cooking, food and transporting people to places of need. Many are involved with the brunch in the school and assist with the preparation of the food and serving 75 or more kids each week. Added to this service of care, they provide counselling and also assist with encouraging people of our community. The team purchases and packs food parcels each month for distribution.

As we come to the end of another great year we look forward to serving our city and community with the help of our volunteers. We want to thank the volunteers that work so hard, faithfully turning up to fulfil their duties and responsibilities towards our community.
